Sir Keith Palmer

Chairman and Founder, AgDevCo Limited / Member and Director, AgDevCo Holdings

Keith is the Chairman and founding sponsor of AgDevCo and brings to the business a wealth of social investment experience across developing countries. Keith has founded several organisations.  He was the intellectual architect and Chairman of InfraCo, an infrastructure project development company operating in Africa and Asia, the founder Chairman of the Emerging Africa Infrastructure Fund, an African debt fund, a founder board member of GuarantCo, an infrastructure loan guarantee facility and, until 2013, the Chairman of CEPA, an economic and financial consultancy.  He was Vice Chairman of Rothschild, the international investment bank, and worked for the World Bank and IMF, has held senior positions in the public sector in Tanzania and Papua New Guinea, and was an Honorary Professor at the University of Dundee Centre for Energy, Petroleum and Mineral Law and Policy.

Other current positions:  Keith is special advisor to the Private Infrastructure Development Group (PIDG), which mobilises private sector investment to develop infrastructure in developing countries and founder and Chair of Enterprise for Development, a UK charity that promotes pro-poor social enterprise in sub-Saharan Africa.
