Ivan is an investment and finance professional with a keen interest in SME investing. Before joining AgDevCo, Ivan spent 10 years at Pearl Capital Partners (PCP), a catalytic agribusiness fund manager, where he was part of the team that led the African Seed Investment Fund (ASIF), a catalytic fund that made investments in grain-seed companies across eastern Africa. Before that, he held financial management and reporting roles for the African Agricultural Capital, PCP’s former incarnation.

Ivan holds a degree in Development Studies with a focus on development economics and an MBA from Makerere University in Kampala. He is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA).

Ivan is passionate about improving SMEs' access to finance. He is interested in data science and machine learning. He is a supporter of men’s mental health.
